Our new community website is a unique new resource for everyone to use and benefit from. It’s easy to use and will be kept up to date with news and events and by our children and through an after-school community website club, contributions from Siblings, Mums and Dads and even Grandparents!
Some older pupils will work with local business people and those who organise the local not for profit local clubs, sport activities and charities based in Ilkley (e.g. Friends of Ilkley Lido).
Adding data and keeping it up-to-date within the school, really helps children develop the enterprise spirit and IT skills, as well as creating an important information resource, that everyone can make use of – young or old.
A key element of our activities is that we plan to develop special relationships with the local businesses in our area – many of them are our parents and through the business provide features on the website, such as the business listing to help their business grow and prosper!
